Little More Often - A better approach to fertiliser application

LMO is RJ Agri's custom nutrient blend: lime, trace elements, and essential nutrients combined into a single mix, available to be applied in liquid, fine particle, or solid form depending on your operation. No juggling multiple products. One mix, matched to your farm, applied on a cycle that makes agronomic and economic sense.

How it gets on the ground is up to you

RJ Agri can apply it for you using the Tow & Fert fine particle applicator, saving up to 50% on fertiliser costs, or through the Hansa L Series Spreader for targeted solid distribution, reducing waste by up to 30% compared to traditional bulk spreading. Or if you'd rather do it yourself, we'll supply the LMO mix and you apply it using your own equipment.

Either way, you're only putting on what the plant needs, when it needs it.

How our Southland farm fert planning works

Our approach is practical, honest, and tailored to Southland’s unique conditions, nothing fancy, just what works for your property.

1. Initial Consultation

Every farm is different. Before anything goes on the ground, we sit down with you to understand your operation and work out whether the LMO Program is the right fit.

2. Soil and Herbage Testing

If it stacks up, we take soil and herbage samples on the spot. These tell us exactly what your soil and plants are missing, and what they don't need. No guessing, no generic blends.

3. Your Custom Blend

Based on the results, your LMO mix is blended specifically for your farm and paddocks by Livestock Supplies in Southland, then delivered straight to you, ready to apply.

4. Application — Your Way

Apply it yourself, or have RJ Agri do it for you. We work with you on the program and can apply your LMO as a liquid slurry through the Tow & Fert, or as a solid through the Hansa L Series Spreader, whichever suits your operation.

5. Measure the Results

This is where it comes full circle. Once your LMO is on the ground and in the plant, we're back in your paddocks every week, measuring, tracking, and verifying that what you've applied is doing exactly what it should because spreading without measuring is only half the job.
